Remarks

The teaching methods are so well & 75% attendance is mandatory otherwise you can't sit for the exam. It has so many clubs such as cadence ( for dance & music), robotics club, Imagics (for painting), Drama club, photography club, NSS & many more. & also has a Reference hall with full speed wifi connection with devices ( PC) for evening studies actually whenever you are free you can go there for study & it is closed at sharp 9:00 pm (both boys & girls are allowed) & has a central library It has Incampus hostels for both boys & girls, canteen, utility block ( book store, accessories, ATM, food stalls) There is wifi connection in the campus & also has open gyms & workshop building's I love the campus there are many more things If you go it's the official site: pmec.ac.in you get to know everything. This college comes under BPUT University. For the admission process better you go the site they have full information process there. & One thing is till date the placement is to be improved

I wanted to join an electrical engineering department that's my own choice. All the faculties here are very well qualified & talented & most faculties are IIT pass outs. But regarding the teaching methods, some faculties are Just awesome they teach so well but some are bad actually I can't understand or catch what they teach, mainly it depends upon the student, all have their different opinions. They take 2 internals before each semester & to sit in the semester exam you have to get 25 points out of 50, this 50 marks include both internal marks, viva, assignments, surprise test, attendance & practicals. To pass the semester you to score at least 36 marks out of 100 marks.

This college offers internship opportunities off campus for 1st to 3rd-year students & on campus for 4th yr students only And the 8th semesters in only for internships which carry 500 marks with a major project ( different mark)

Placement Experience

Only 4th-year students can sit for campus placement. about 5-6lakh per yr or sometime 10-12lakh per yr Package companies came Wipro, Amcat, E-Litmos, etc. other companies have visited. & Max 20- 30 students get selected I have planned after completing my BTech I will opt TCS job

The fee structure is quite good as this is a govt. College. They have many scholarship criteria for all category that's all are so beneficial.

I really love the campus It has Incampus hostels for both boys & girls also have staff quarters for faculties Reference hall for evening studies (both boys & girls are allowed) Open gyms Utility block (book store, ATM, food stalls, basic requirements shop) Canteen WiFi connection

Hostel Facilities

They provide a cupboard, chair, table for each student, in each room only 2 & 3 students can stay. Meal quality is quite moderate but the menu is decided but the students itself To get into the hostel you have to score well in 1st year (both semester) at least 7 SPGA. & Others who don't get the Incampus hostels they provided off-campus hostels ( detail provided in the official site)

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling.
