Remarks

ZHCE is a good College and also one of the oldest colleges of India. Admission process is very easy. If you have enough marks you can get the admission without any problem. College atmosphere is very good. Teachers are helpful and very intelligent. One thing I don't like about the college is it's canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose B.A. Prog over other courses because I want to become an IAS officer and my History and English both subjects are good. That's why i chose this.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 6800 per year

Placement Experience

After completing your 2 years you can go for placements. A lot of companies visited our college from various fields like : software companies, hospitality business companies and many more. I got a offer from a company Named NAMAH EVENTS,its an event management company. It organise events, meetings, conferences etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is very low it's just 6800/- per year. You can get the scholarship if you have any quota.

Campus Life

To be honest the infrastructure of our college was not good but now we have a whole new building which is one of the best buildings in DU. This is a 9 storage building which totally change your view. You can easily find books in library. Our college's Football team is very nice and we have a hall for Badminton, Table tennis and a big ground for cricket and football.

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

I applied overall for all the colleges obviously on the first round I got shyama Prasad college for women and I didn't like it so in the 2nd round I got this college and I didn't go for 3rd round because I accidentally placed a not well reputed college above this so yeah I choose this one. Life in Zakir Hussain Delhi College (Evening)

*I applied for many colleges but got enrolled in Zakir Hussain because of distance from my home and also i research about infrastructure of this college it has vast facilities there. * No, I didn't get any rejection, i just wanted to do less travell. * At my time, i got admission through my merit percentage. for my course 92% required for morning and 85% for evening. i was eligible for eveing only. After getting admission, procedure was smooth, i just went to college and filled the form got help from seniors of my department, they were kind and helpfull in nature.Then along with admission form had to submit all the required documents- like your identity proof, all academic marksheets, fee reciept, category certificate(if applicable),migration certificate(if applicable).you need to sign all the documents and please carry all your original documents and copy as well.Your original documents will get submitted for verification and they returned it after some time,so dont worry about it....Read More
