Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is competency-based. The first year comprises of 13 months, second year-11 months and third year are divided into two parts. All exams are based on practical and internal assessments. At the end of the semester, you have to do a compulsory internship.
Placement Experience
Placements are not assured by the college, though you get a chance of doing great in your one-year internship. Post internship some started preparing for masters and others joined private hospitals, corporate hospitals, etc. I guess placement isn?t a problem in the medical profession, getting into a college is one.
College Events
The college organises arts fest, sports-related events between all the students. It helps students to socialise more and blend in with other students. The culture of the college is amazing as other than fest, many cultural events are celebrated in the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for MBBS is lower than other courses. The tuition fees are ?186000, admission fees are 40000, and other fees account to ?15000. Per semester fees account to ?2.41 Lakhs. Scholarships are provided for students with good entrance scores.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is good, all the classrooms of college are very clean, the library has a good stock of books available all the time. Medical facilities are also available 24 hours and there are enough sports activities to indulge in. The environment is also peaceful.
Admission
The application forms are available on KPC?s official website. The application form is to be sent with a DD of ?7500 in favour of KPC Medical College and hospital from SBI branch or a nationalised bank. You need to pass and score good marks in NEET(UG).
Faculty
The teachers were the best and had excellent calibre as doctors. They made the subjects interesting. They would also tutor you and give you extra time if you were weak in a subject. They teach us in class and lab, and theory using PPTs. The exposure provided here was incomparable.
