Course Curriculum Overview
In India, almost everywhere the MBBS course curriculum is similar or somewhat same. The total course duration is of 5 years and 6 months. Within that 5.5 years, one year for your internship is also included. The MBBS program is divided into semesters and each semester has theory and practical exams which you have to pass. The theory paper is subjective and is quite tough to pass, if you don't study well.
Placement Experience
As a part of your course program, you will get to do a one-year internship. The internship will be a paid one, but the stipend that you will be getting will be less as compared to other colleges. There is no on-campus recruitment system, but once you have graduated then you can apply here in the hospital to work a full-time.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is decent for the entire course program. The admission fee is around ?2.5 lakhs, and in the following years you will have to pay around 1.9 lakhs/year. However, in the final year, you will have to pay ?93,000 only.
Campus Life
Besides studies, you can also pursue your passion or hobby in the campus. The campus provides you with various sports facilities like football, cricket, badminton, etc. You can also go for singing, dancing, painting, and other similar skills. Boys and girls are friendly here and there is no discrimination in any form.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors in the college are very helpful and can guide you whenever you are in need. The campus has an anti-ragging cell, so you can expect some friendly and fun-loving seniors. The college doesn't have any official alumni network, neither it organizes any such event where alumni are invited, but you can build your own contacts via the seniors.
Admission
You have to clear the NEET UG entrance exam with a desirable rank. If you have cleared the cut-off mark in NEET and have got the required rank, you will be called for counselling. The counselling is based on merit, so, only getting a rank or clearing the cut-off mark doesn't guarantee that you will get admission in this college. The student must also get a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2.
Faculty
You will get some of the highly educated faculty in this college. They have both higher qualification and experience in their respective departments. The lectures held here are quite interesting and you will get to learn a lot from that.
