Course Curriculum Overview

I was enroll in bachelor of arts course. We are given deep knowledge . Course curriculum include the topics which are are very important in the UPSC syllabus also show our course is is very much helpful in the preparation of general compitions examination.

Placement and job opportunities after passing from this college is ok level .many companies like TCS ,Wipro ,HCL came for campus recruitment .almost 50 to 60% student got placed with an average package of 3 lakhs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I have to pay only 4000 rupees per annum for my course. it's quite easy and pocket friendly for all . In return a good college environment and supporting team of faculty members are provided which are very crucial for our success.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities are reminding me of all the inter house cricket volleyball football matches which was organised during sport festivals. We have various dance ,singing ,acting competition also for overall growth of student.

Admission

Admission on merit basis only.I want to get admission into my college then you have to score good marks in your class 12th examination so that your chances could increase as only class 12th marks are considered during admissions.

faculties are Highly knowledgeable and experienced the never get irritated if the same question is repeated thousand of time. They love to spend time with us so there is regularity in the class. Every topic in our syllabus is given ample amount of time.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

A overview of Falakata College

You need a minimum 60% score for eligibility. You need to fill up forms in December or June and you get the application by simply writing the course name and college name. Here you don't get and reservation benefits. The time is short I think so and they need to give us about 3 hours for the exam....Read More
