Remarks
This is a good college to study pretty promisingly. The campus is unique and spacious. Teachers here are very nice and friendly. The fee structure is also acceptable. We have a rich library with nearly about nineteen thousand books.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of the BA history course is in detail and thorough. It covers all the aspects of history covering ancient to modern history. Our course is divided into semesters. First-term unit test examination happens in the month of September.
Placement Experience
Placement and internships are not very regular in our college. This is an old institution so placement cell is not working properly. You can try for job opportunities on your own. Most of the courses we are studying here are the subjects who have fewer internship opportunities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for B.A history course is Rs 11,320. The fee for the first year is Rs 6,080, the second year you need to pay Rs 2,620 and for the third year, it is Rs 2,620. You can pay it semester wise as well. According to me, this is quite feasible and reasonable.
Campus Life
We take part in NCC and NSS. we celebrate Republic Day and independence day every year. We also take part in the commemoration of our celebrated national leaders in collaboration with multiple clubs and societies. Our Student Union runs on election basis with full membership rights for every student.
Admission
You can apply for this course on the basis of your 10+2 marks or an equivalent examination which is recognized by the University of North Bengal. You need to fill the online form on the official website.l application fees paid are not refundable. The admission is done on the basis of merit list.
Faculty
Faculty and non-teaching staff of the college are very helpful and friendly here. They are highly qualified professionals who have a great knowledge of their subjects. Some of them have experience of more than 15-20 years. They make a subject like a history interesting and fun.
