Course Curriculum Overview

The course has theoretical parts more which requires reading and writing to have a stronghold on the course and lead to retain better marks. The literature is the main aspect to develop a better understanding of the subject.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of the college provides a number of opportunities and trains the students to crack job interviews and internships. The highest package offered to students was between 3-4lakh rs per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The B.A. course fees are feasible for three years and it cost me around rs 3000 which includes all the college charges. It has extra fees for the online application fee of rs 120 to enroll in the course.

Campus Life

The extracurricular activities are many in the college which include sports activities, cultural fees, seminars, workshops, inter-college competitions, annual fests, also we celebrate different festivals in the college.

Admission

The admission in BA English requires 55% of marks in the same subject to pursue the course in the college. Furthermore, students can proceed with completing the admission formalities to get enrollment in the college.

Faculty

The faculties are best in the course and their knowledge is commendable in the field of arts. The methods of teaching help me to learn most about the course also helped me to score well in internal exams and assignments.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
