I opted for commerce with maths & scored 84.5% in board exams . after that, I decide to opt. for BCom Hons. from the University of Delhi. 1) under Delhi university admission for the BCom Hons course is done through merit basis ONLY. 2) The registration start date for UG exam through merit is 22 MAY,2017 3) registration last date for UG exam through merit is 12 June 2017 4) first cut-off date is 23 June 2017 5) after every cut-off, students have to verify documents in their respective colleges in which they have to take admission. 6) usually, 2-3 days are given for physical examination & approval of documents. 7) after getting approval, you have to submit your all original documents in the respective college REASON FOR PREFERRING THIS COLLEGE 1) If you want to study for any competitive exam, you have an ample amount of time to study. 2) all teachers are so helpful. 3) there is no such ATTENDANCE issue , if you have a good communications with your teachers.

COURSE DETAILS A) If you choose BCom Hons as you under the graduation course, you will get detailed knowledge about ACCOUNTING & FINANCE. B) In every semester you will get detail knowledge of accounting aspects i.e. 1) cost accounting 2) management accounting 3) financial accounting 4) income tax & GST 5) auditing & corporate governance 6)corporate accounting C) other than that you will also get detailed knowledge of economics i.e macro & microeconomics both. FACULTY MEMBERS A) all teachers are highly qualified. B) they will help you like a friend not only only in you academics but also help in your personality development.

There is no placement regarding BCom Hons. most of the students apply for internships & jobs at their own. it is very important for students to do at least 3 internships during his/her college. for that, you can apply via Internshala, lets intern. both these internships provide ample of internships in various fields. so one should always gain experience while studying. for the placement, you can apply via naukri.com which provides you no. of jobs in your area& field. if you want to study for a competitive exam like CAT & GOVERNMENT exams. then start taking coaching in your second year.

there are different fees structure depending upon your minority I belong to the Sikh minority which helps me in getting admission only. the fee structure is the same as a general category. YOU have to pay fees annually. 1st-year fees: 17,850 2nd-year fees:17,130 3rd-year fees:17,130 if you are a scholar student then you will get fess refundable.

There are mainly 2 societies in this college i.e. 1) COMVICTUS (commonly known as commerce society). 2) KAIRA (dance society) all these societies have their annual cultural fest in the month of February. all societies are so active in terms of competitions. they conduct competitions every month. college provide a fund to all society.
