Course Curriculum Overview
We candidates had to choose three electives among subjects provided by our college.I opted for B.A in Geography so it was mandatory for me to choose economics and had option between elective english, elective bengali and sanskrit.
Placement Experience
Placement is provided from our college and our seniors were placed in reputed organizations, our college have separate career and Counselling cell and they are responsible for all the recruitment and placements.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I had to reimburse Rs.5,135 in aggregate including the tuition fee Rs.600 and admission fee Rs.100. Our college have inexpensive fee structure not only for B.A curriculum but also other curriculum.Thus allowing most of the students to earmark this college for higher education.
Campus Life
Our college organizes seminars for us which helps gaining extra ordinary knowledge from our professors and lecturers.We celebrate Teacher's day where we students pay tribute to our teachers and organize functions to entertain them.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is provided for both girls and boys , hostel is well furnished with three time meals, fee for fooding need to be paid separately before 10th of every month. There are many rules and regulations which need to be followed in the hostel.
Admission
I applied by registering in the college website www.pdwomenscollege.org. with personal details and after registering i had to fill the online application form from admission.pdwomenscollege.org , the payment option they avail is bank payment, i had to download the three fold challan from college's website and just after filling the application form i made the payment in bank.
Faculty
Our college have sixteen departments each for each courses . Our faculties aims to impart knowledge of the Himalayan foothills, factors affecting the physical factors of the environment of the same. Our faculties guides us to conduct surveys on environmental basis.
