Deepak Kumar's Review On National Institute Of Technology - [NIT], Kurukshetra

For sure nit kurukshetra is among the best college in india it provides techinical educations to the students at the same time helps in overall development of the child.

I appeared in AIEEE exams held in 2012 and secured a decent rank of 7000 i tried to take admission in the best of nits but could not get admission in mechanical engineering so i choose nit kurukshetra whic was rankes 6th out of the 30 nits also the mechanical of this college is quite good.

Even though the course curriculam is old yet it provides sufficient knowledge and is taught well in the college in 1st year we are taught some portions of all branches and then feom 2nd year onwards we were taught the main subjects of mechanical the teachers are highly qualified and experienced.

Many companies visit our college like l&t, dambler etc for internship the stipend varies from 5k to 25k however most of us did our training offcampus i did my internship from Jcb even though they didn't provide any stipend yet the experience was owesome there.

Many automobile companies like tata, mahindra, maruti, hero, honda,volvo, ashok leyland etc visit our campus for recruitment other core companies like l&t, applied materials, technip, bpcl, coal india, nestle, coco cola, pepsi etc also visit apart from them consultancies like exl, exteria, zs assosiates also came the package varies form 5 lakh per annum to 10 lakh per annum.

Many college fests like techspardha-technical fest, confluence- a cultural fest, altius, literati, sports meet etc are organised all students are given equal oportunities to participate and the winners are handsomley awarded students from many college visit the college during the fest and provides a competitive environment.

Since the college is governmentally funded thus various scholarship is given to sc, st and obs candidates form college as well as the state government the college also award maritious students with cash prize various internationsal scholarship are also awarded to students.

Since there is no political party so the atmosphere is quite peaceful and the college offers a healthy environment for the students to grow various technical and cultural events keep on hapening in the college the gender ratio is increasing year by year.

All the students are alloted hostels the rooms are quite spacious and the bathrooms are cleaned daily each room has a lan port for fast speed internet each hostel is provided with a spaperate mess which provides good quality food the mess bill came around 3k to 4k per month whereas the hostel charges is 6k per anum.

Since ragging is ban in the college the seniours are more than friends to the students they are helpful to juniors in every manner the college also helds various alumuni talks where alumuni from all the field share their experience with us this gives wide exposure to the students.
