You don't have to doubt when you come to this college. They will make you feel like a part of the family who are always there to back you up . You will have a great exposure and experience after studying in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is obviously vast an the subjects are tough.This course is a 5 year course an you will have to do a lot of research work. There will be regular assignments that you will have to do and your exam schedule will be hectic as well so you better be ready for this.

Placement Experience

Yes the university provides you with both placements and internships.They want their students to have the experience of working in the field so that is why they provide you with internships.The placements are pretty good they make sure that each student gets placed in good institutions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This is an integrated degree so the fees is expensive.The fees is not something that can be afforded by everyone.But you should definitely see the benefits that you are getting .If we compare the fees with the facilities being provided then definitely the fees is reasonable

Campus Life

You don't have to always study that is why the college organizes extracurricular activities.They have the most high tech labs which are maintained properly. Various sports activities are conducted time to time.

Admission

The admission procedure is as follows.First you have to fill out the application form then you have to give an entrance exam known as UPST if you have given NEET OR JEE then you don't have to to give the entrance exam the college will call you for direct interview based on your ranks. If you give the entrance exam then the college releases a merit list and on the basis of that list you are granted admission.

Since this course is tough the faculty is there to help you.They have years of training experience and they will definitely make it a little easier for you by keeping you motivate an through their amazing teaching skills

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I had applied and got into st.stephens, delhi(bsc chem), jadavpur uni(be,mme), nit durgapur(bs chem), iiser tpt and bpr(bsms). left stephens because the course at iacs or iisers were more relevant to research. didnt join jadavpur cause didnt wanna do btech. didnt join nit since its expensive, and i believe iacs or iisers are a better option for bs, left iiser because its expensive and i got into iacs before i did to iiser,and they are pretty much similar as ive heard from professors and seniors...Read More
