Remarks

College is under development and as such you can't expect much from management. The buildings are being built to accommodate growing needs. So it is a matter of time to see the college working at its best.

Entrance Preview

I took JEE Mains and scored 90 in the exams to get into this college. First of all after NIT we have few choices left so I opted for this college because it was inside home and has affordable fee structure and is affiliated with university.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The first year was of ups and downs as the college had its first year also. 1st sem was finished but got affected due to floods. We had 11subjects.2nd semi was good and faculty though contractual was good enough.Overall course curriculum was good and labs were also done to good effect.

Internships Opportunities

Presently we are first batch and college is at its 2nd year. But at main campus there are companies taking students into their company like Sony ericson , ONGC and other local companies.

Placement Experience

1.5

As I said we are the first batch and presently in 3rd sem so hard to tell about which companies are going to come and what is the package offered. So hope for the best.

College Events

0.5

We we some sports events organised and in Feb there was a workshop on electronics and students came with spirit and enthusiasm. There were at least 7 different areas in electronics workshop to develop innovation and scientific research.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible and affordable as compared to other colleges in state. The college charges 40, 000 per year which is good.Other colleges charge about 70, 000 per year so the fee structure is affordable and at par.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships can be availed under merit cum means scholarship offered by MHRD which provides assistance to students about 20, 000 per annum.

Campus Life

2

Workshop was organised in Feb this month and there are not much extra curriculars which college is offering. Labs have started functioning and we have equipments to do our practicals for present semester.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel is under construction and is likely to start from next year. The buildings are ready and well constructed and some minor works are to be finished to start the hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

As we are the first batch so we don't have any seniors. But at main campus where the previous batches were studying, they said that it was a good time while completing course as they had well equipped labs, best faculty and inside the university.

Faculty

2

The faculty for 1st year is mainly contractual as college is new but in 3rd sem we have about 4 to 5 permenant faculty. The standard is good and teach with sincerity. Progress is on its way to improve the college faculty as it is tough to get permanent faculty at university level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.
