Course Curriculum Overview

In this college the courses pursued are very vast. There are 5 specialisation at graduate level and 8 at post graduate level. Some courses of this college are B.A.L.L.B, B. Tech, B.sc, M.sc, B.com, M.com and many more.

Placement Experience

It's a new course and not placed a student until now, but will place definitely. The internship is offered by Internshala, and many students get selected. There are no recruiting company until now. The salary package offered is around 1.6 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Structure of fees in this college is very economical. If we take a look on facilities and infrastructure then the fees is really feasible. The approximate expenditure of fees is 2-3 lakhs For persuing any course the fees expenditure will be same .

Campus Life

In our college there are various kinds of extra curricular activities conducted. Every year a fest is organised, college is well organised and equipped with labs and sports academy for interested ones.

Admission

Admission : In this college admissions are based on entrance exam and student's merit list. There are many other courses are offered by this college and depending on skills and specialisation of students, they select entrance exam is conducted and then depending on the merit list and admission are granted in this college.

Faculty

There are first-class professors, and their behaviour is good. Professors are well knowledgeable. Our co-coordinator is also very helpful. Teaching quality is very good. Professors make us understand every topic with high priority basis. Professors are PhD holders.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Computer faculty is the best ??

Other than dwc, I have applied in various colleges.. like asansol girls college, burdwan women's college, many colleges of Kolkata, durgapur michal Madhusudan college, Durgapur goverment college etc.. I have also given the ug cuet exam.. But after getting chances in maximum colleges ,my family did not allow to choose that colleges ... so I have to take admission in DWC..The admission process is looking the marks of class 12 and they out the merit list ......Read More

I only gave admission test in this college, as it was the closest to my home. No i didn't get rejected as I never applied although i did gave the cuet exam and i couldn't qualify. Our college's admission process is quite simple. We had to fill the online form in the college website and then check the merit list and appear in college on the day they mention for document verification . You need 50% above marks in higher secondary, there were no exam held for admission, though the 12th marks matters as the cut off is 65 above is mandatory.
