Course of BSC is of the total duration of 3 years program having 6 semesters. I have selected mathematics honors as my preference with the combination of Physics and Chemistry. Environmental studies for 100 marks and Engilsh/Begali of 50 marks are compulsory subjects. Exams are held on semester basis with various mid semester exams, class tests , projects and assignment in between each semester.

Job opportunities and placements are good after having a graduation degree in BSC from mathematics . Many students prefer for further studies as there are more wide opportunities after having higher studies . Students willing for job can go for various government services in Banking, SSC etc along with placements.

Fees in my course is quite feasible . It costs me around 5,000 per year which sums to be a total of around maximum 20,000 including all the fees for examination, security deposit, identity card etc. for the whole duration of course. Various scholarships are provided to deserving and needy students on merit basis and family annual income .

The college organizes various events in the campus like world music day, inauguration of wall magazine,student's seminars, educational tours and many more events are held regularly to provide us opportunities where we can show our creativity. Sports cell of the college conducts tournaments every year in which students of other colleges take part.The campus is totally ragging free campus with anti ragging community to have a watch on various activities in college .

I have got admission in this college on the basis of my merit score. First of all I have registered my name on the website www.sardamanicollegebankura.org . After filling all the necessary details in registration form and payment of application fees of Rs 150 , a few day later, the merit was published at the official website and I have been selected based on my marks in qualifying examination. Score of more than 80% is safe side for admission.

Faculties of each department are experts in their field. All the members have atleast MSC degree with many completed their PhD from top colleges of the country. Department of Mathematics and the professors follow unique techniques for teaching so that our concepts are crystal clear and we are provided variety of questions through which we are able to think in different directions and at all the perspectives to solve the questions.
