Amazing college

The course was three years along with semester-based system. The external and internal were taken as the examination to see the status of the education within the students. The teachers used to have several presentation and work and we were to submit project works at the end of each year. Overall the curriculum was very easy and stress free.

The college used to give us the placement support unity at the end of third year where the local schools and institutes used to come in interview us. Some of the well-known organisations included content writing firms like Scoopwhoop, social Instagram portal, companies like suntec, etc. 75% of the students used to get placed through the campus with an average package of Rs.5 lakhs per annum.

The fees was very feasible since this was a woman college specifically for those who could not get education from the regular college. First your fee was around Rs.2500 including all the fees. It could be submitted in the form of demand draft, card payments but no cash was accepted at University.

The college was a woman college and had most of the girls from the Bengal origin itself. But other diversity was also seen at the campus. We had extra co-curricular activities like music, dance, theatre and debate club where all the students could take part in. We had library is fully equipped with all the latest books and reference books. Overall the college environment was very friendly.

The selection to the college was on the basis of 10+2 board examinations. I applied to the college through their official website where the application form was available since this is the largest North Bengal University. I got enrolled to the course BA honours in English. The counselling session on the orientations for done after the admission.

The teachers of the college were very helpful and polite. They were all very humble and down-to-earth. All of them were well acknowledged and PhD holders in various disciplines. They had the experience of working at various known firms and institutes.
