Course Curriculum Overview
The overall curriculum is well designed and focuses more on the practical training and knowledge which is a great thing. The curriculum is of 3 years which consist 6 semesters. You need to read 6 subjects per semester which is overall 36 subjects in 3years. And the BA LLB is of 5 years which is overall 10 semesters. The course curriculum is manageable and not overburdening.
Placement Experience
The placement cell is pretty active. The placements are one of the best, mostly private companies come to the college for placements and yes the college offers internships also by various government officials like human rights comission, senior citizens forum, consumer forum or directly into the court or high court. But there is no stipends provided.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As it is a government college the fees structure is obviously within range. The fees structure is 2550 rupees for a year with all the expense like library fees, students union fees, seminar, sports, moot court session fees, cultural fees etc. So, you can easily say it is not only one of the most affordable law colleges in Orissa but also reputed with great infrastructure, academics, and good placement offers. I don't think you should be bothered by the affordability of the course.
Campus Life
The college has various types of extracurriculars from freshers to farewell, from saraswati puja to legal fests everything in the campus. Also they conduct events like National Level Moot Court Competition, Lexellence annual function and trial advocacy camps.
Admission
The admission process is based on your merit and the marks you have secured in the entrance test. The admission went really well as i scored pretty well in the entrance examination. I wanted to join this college as it is one of the leading law colleges in Orissa and the infrastructure, academics are really great.
Faculty
The faculties are very well qualified advocates. They are full of knowledge and experience and almost everyone is supportive and helpful in nature. They are also good at interacting with students and love their teaching techniques. They are also quiet friendly and helps the students to get accustomed very easily.
