Course Curriculum Overview

In three years of this course, I got to know everything about accounting. at first I learnt about its basic principles and rules. With every passing semester, I studied about the same things in detail.

Placement Experience

There are no placement and internship opportunities available in the college. Although, the college conducts seminars and workshops to prepare the students for the same so that we are prepared for the future.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees was Rs. 5,730. The fees is really feasible but still the college offers scholarship opportunities to those students who are financially weak. It either provides them with half or full fee concession as per their financial status.

Campus Life

The college has all the facilities available. It has a library, canteen, hostel, research labs, and sports ground for us. There was literally not a shortage of anything. I loved it there and going to miss it so much.

Admission

The admission process of this college was really simple. I registered online on their website and waited for the list to come out. They selected the students on the basis of their merit and the eligibility criteria was at least 45% marks in 12th exams.

Faculty

The faculty was professional and expert in the field. They helped us conduct research work and create powerpoint presentations to understand the concept thoroughly. Most of my teachers were friendly and humble.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
