Course Curriculum Overview

B.A. (Hons) (English) is a very easy going course and the curriculum here provides a certain level of autonomy to the students to learn on their own too. However, a strict examination structure is followed.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It costs ?5,700 for the complete three year, full time, on-campus B.A. (Hons) (English) course. This fee structure is not only affordable but also pretty inexpensive if compared to any other university offering the same course.

Campus Life

There are a lot of extracurricular activities organised by the college throughout the year. These activities are aimed at providing a happy learning environment to the students of the college.The students are really helpful.

The alumnis of the college are too good to be true. They are smart, successful and kind. They usually visit us on alumni meets and various other auspicious occasions. It is indeed, a very overwhelming feeling.

After completing my schooling, I decided to pursue B.A. (Hons) (English) so I began to search for colleges and in no time, I found Raniganj Girls College, Bundwan. It has the most simplified admission procedure.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is renowned and they are reservoirs of knowledge and there is literally no end to what one can learn from them. I am glad to be studying under these teachers who always help us and motivate us to do better in our lives.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
