Deepak Kumar's Review On Graphic Era University - [GEU], Dehradun

I dont want to be an Engineer instead force fully i sit down for AIEEE Exam where i secured State Rank (UK) 5009 in 2005. There after in counseling father want me to choose Mechanical but my area of interest is ECE. Only college that have ECE seat left is Graphic Era.

ECE is a bit difficult course but i manage to passed out without any Back. During 3rd semester i start thinking that i will not make out clear with my degree reason being SSDC subject. In Exam of that subject my whole carrier revolve around one numerical of 20 marks because i have make up my mine that if i wont through then i quit my course wharever be the outcome is now i am a respectable Engineer in a Multinational Company.

There is no such program introduced in our college so i do my internship outside to that where i was getting 3500 per month and free two time food. But i come to know that companies like Samsung is hiring interns from college now.

Placement of the batch prior to us is huge out of 420 students 319 was placed in different companies but at our time recession start knocking the door of economy so placement was just 125/420. I was not placed in college.

One culture fest known as Graphest organised on every 2 week of april on the other hand a tech fest annunad celebrated in October. In Graphest Stage performance of students and a poetry evening from famous poets is attraction whereas in Annunad students performance is the key.

Fees structure is based on Govt preset rules so it is comparatively feasible. At that time academic fee was 46000 per year. But in first year it was about 60000 it includes book bank refundable security and the uniform.

No i dont know any thing about it. Maybe some reserved caste students got scholarship from state government.

I want to be a story teller so i tried my skills during college fest where i wrote and direct a play named as "add me to the admission" and play received respected feedback from every viewer during audition.

No i don't have much alumni in contact but those who live with me in college time irrespective of senior and junior is coming to meet me in city for a hangout on beer.

Exam structure is quite simple two internal examinations and one external examination per semester. Your internal marks is based on your performance in Internal Exams.

The faculty of the college is great even the owner of the College Kamal Ghansala is taking classes of computer science. Even we understand the basic of C from him. The best part is the practicle knowledge they try to provide.
