This college is a good college and I think everyone should consider going to this college. This provides a very good platform for future jobs and the learning is up to the mark.
Entrance Preview
Wrote IIT JEE in 2008 and this was a very difficult exam. Scores kept low still I made 1209 AIR. College choice was based on rank.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was a great course. Electives were in both Electronics and communications. I loved the communications courses. Signals and System was my favorite course.
Internships Opportunities
Internship: Goldman Sachs. It was not in core, I did my graduation in ECE but was interning in a role that was partly fin and partly CSE. Stipend: 15000.
Placement Experience
It is difficult to get a job that pays well in core branches, but if you are looking for a job in noncore than that is okay choice and you will end up doing good there.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees were reasonable in our time but now the fees have gone up in huge numbers and this will be a difficulty for the students in the coming years to come.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, there are very good scholarship schemes including prestigious yes bank and OP Jem Award. They also have ABG Scholarship and MCM for poor students.
Campus Life
Campus life is brilliant and students get to enjoy a lot. There ar 4 squash courts and 3 basket ball courts. One cricket ground, 1 football and 1 hockey ground.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is very bad definitely 4/10 and the mess facility is even worse. They never make good food and the quantity of milk that they give in the breakfast is also less.
Alumni/Alumna
Very good and strong alumni network there are Facebook and WhatsApp groups that the students can reach out to and leverage. This helps a lot of students.
Exam Structure
Exams are easy. It is difficult to get good marks, but even after getting okay marks, you could get a good score because it is all relative there.
Faculty
The faculty is good. I like the way they teach in the classroom. They are also helpful otherwise and can be reached out to in case one needs help. On many occasions, I have received help from them after college time also.
