Remarks
Overall a great college to be a part of, few observations on the exam structure that it should be more flexible. The focus should be more on research aspects of study rather than keeping one busy with exams. The purpose of the exam is to make a student accountable, it should not act as an impediment to a student who is willing to learn and explore his area of study by absorbing most of his time. Such accountability can be achieved by having one set of main exams at the end of a semester, rather than having small unit tests every now and then.

Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was pretty feasible. Total fees for each semester was about Rs 28000/- including hostel and mess charges. The break-up is as follows: Tuition fees - 17000Hostel fees - 8000Mess fees - 3000Total - Rs 28000/- for 6 months.
Fees and Financial Aid
No such scholarship was availed by me. But for students belonging to weaker sections of the society, the fees were subsidized as compared to that for the General Category.
Campus Life
The gender ratio was 1:8 Female: Male. Hostel parties (Bhawan parties) were once every year. Workshops were very frequent and cultural societies/clubs were diverse. Eg photography, music, Magazine, etc. Tolerance was there as we had students from all walks of life, belonging to different castes, religions, demographics, etc and yet there was no bias.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities were great.Sports equipments, free wi-fi, Lan connection, hostel canteen at subsidized rates etcMess food was of sub-standard quality, although food was served regularly as per schedule.
Alumni/Alumna
We have very strong alumni at our college. There is a separate portal on our college website for the alumini to keep in touch. Also, alumini meetings are conducted annually at college.
Exam Structure
Exam structure was so that there was a semester system each being of 6 months. Each semester had the main exams and the unit tests which were conducted twice. There were no gaps in between the exams. Marking and grading were relative.
Faculty
The faculty was great. All our professors were Ph.D. Most of them were visiting professors to foreign universities. Some of them were consultants in the field they specialized in. Some were external auditors.
