Review of my college

This institution is the best. Somewhere a student after gettting admission from here become assured of a bright future after completing of the course. Further everything else here is just perfect be it academics, teachers, infrastructure, safety, campus life and placements.

The course of [B Stat (Hons)] was of three years and the exams were conducted Semistar wise (6 Semistars in 3 three years) the course curriculum provided with comprehensive instruction in the theory, methods and application of Statistics, in addition to several areas of Mathematics and some basic areas of Computer Science.

Placements opportunities in my college was enormous and the highest level of package provided to a student from this college campus placements was of Rs. 42 Lakhs and average was of 19.8 lakhs. Some of the companies visited to recruit students were HSBC Technology & Services, IBM, ICICI and many more. I got placed in HSBC Technology & services and my package currently is of 20 lakhs.

The institute did not have any fees to be paid for. There was just a security deposition of Rs. 2000 for library and Rs. 5000 for hostel and recurring mess charges. Which is even refundable by the end if the course.

The college gave stipends of Rs. 3,000 to B Stat (Hons) students or fellowship to the non-sponsored students from government or else where in the first Semistar/ year. And as on the basis of a students performance, The stipends even got renewed.

There was no discrimination in my college, everyone got equally treated by the teachers. And there wasn't any inequalities on the basis of gender, ethnicity or religion among the students. The teachers use to give equal attention to all of there students.

My Admission in [B Stat (Hons)] was mainly on the basis of my performance in the written entrance exam conducted by the institution further followed by an interview as i got selected after the entrance exam. The basic eligibility criteria for admission was to be qualified in 10+2 with maths and English as must subjects.

The faculty was very skillsful with the technicalities of teaching effectively and use to put all there efforts to teach us everything clearly. And they also kept on doing there research work side by side in there particular subjects.
