The Siliguri campus of Salesian college was started in 2009. Their mission is to equip the students with skills for employability and intellectual competent. They create socially sensitive and morally upright citizens.
Course Curriculum Overview
The students are admitted through the norms of CBCS by University of North Bengal. In a period of six semesters, the honours program is designed with 140 credits. We have 14 core papers, 2 ability enhancement papers, 2 skill enhancement papers, 4 discipline specific and 2 generic elective papers.
Placement Experience
The college doesn't provide any placement offers directly. They train the students through the staff members. The training is really good. So, at the you can either find a job on your own or opt for higher studies.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for first year is about ?.69,000 , for second year it's about ?.67,000 , and for third year it is about ?.63,000. Each year the fee has to be paid in three installments. They are in July, November and March of each academic year.
Campus Life
The college organizes various cultural events and fests. The students are encouraged to participate in inter collegiate competitions. The college is specialized for it's lecture workshops and the annual sports meet. There are various clubs and associations to support students.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni are so friendly and kind towards us. They help us to extend our knowledge on latest trends. They conduct social outreach program ever year in the campus. They never fail to share their memories with us.
Admission
Firstly, we have to register for the application portal. After that, we can login and pay the application cost. Only then we can fill the application form. Make sure you save a copy of the form. After merit listing, you will be selected and intimated through your mail id. My course is available in Siliguri campus.
Faculty
The department of Mathematics have four regular faculties. Subhajit Paul is our HOD. The other staff members Debdut sir, Snigdha mam and Bisham sir are highly talented in solving all maths questions.
