Remarks

Here gender ratio is quite small. But it doesn't matter much after you get to a college. There is no discrimination of any kind. All here live peacefully and the college has no report of ragging of juniors by seniors yet. Everyone lives a good life and enojy here.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is approved by Bar Council of India (BCI) and University Grants Commission (UGC). courses are offered by the college under the strict rules and regulations of the University. Examination will be coducted on time after completing each academic session.

Placement Experience

My College is more concerned about the placement and internship. Students do internship in various law firm where they get good experience, also they get paid 5 thousand to 10 thousand per month. Internship experience will be very useful in students future career.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees of this University is very less and feasible for everyone. Anyone can pay fees to college without taking any loan. I am paying just 2500rs to the University for one year. This fee is very low so I can suggest students to take admission here.

Campus Life

University Law College has focused on extracurricular activities. Sports activity will be organized by University, different sports like - Cricket, Basketball, athletics etc will be played in that. Both boys and girls students take part in that.

Admission

Selection to candidate in University Law College Bhubaneswar will be made based on the entrance exam. Candidate after completing his agraduation in Art or Science or commerce are eligoible for for admission and they should have minimum 45% marks in graduation.

Faculty

The faculty is highly qualified and always look forward to give individual attention to each and every student. They give remedial coaching too. Teachers are very supportive and help in projects or research works.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

Courses and instructors are good, but don't expect a rocking campus life here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this college without planning as I couldn't get a desired seat in IIT. But I think it was for good. The course is a wonderful primer on the path of becoming a scientist. Compared to other colleges, IISER Berhampur has a quite good faculty: student ratio. But most of them are pretty good as people and as teachers. We manage to conduct all classes without fail. But I'd like to see an increase in the number so that the research area can be broadened. The faculty here have all completed their Ph.D. and postdoc and all have some good prior experience in research and teaching. I like most of the instructors that have taught me except for a few one or two. The exam schedule is given right with the calendar release of each semester before the semester starts. Sometimes there might be changes in the schedule but we are informed around 2-3 weeks earlier in that case. Exams are not hard to pass if you attend classes and study sincerely. Questions are not asked beyond the concepts being taught.

Life at BGU

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.

NLU's are my first choice and NALSAR definitely. Dur to reserved system, even after a rank of 7800, i couldn't find myself a seat.
