Course Curriculum Overview

The length of this course is 3 years and helps in understanding about Mathematics and the concepts. The course provides in-depth knowledge of geometry, trigonometry, calculus and other theories to the students and helps students to use logical ways to formulate theories and apply the same to solve problems.

Placement Experience

The placements and internships are offered in great number. Various reputed companies like Microsoft, Directi, IBM Research lab, Goldman Sachs, Myntra Samsung Research Lab, TCS , ICICI bank, American Express, Deloitte, OYO Rooms and many others have recruited students in large numbers. The average salary package offered was INR 15-19 LPA. Employment opportunities are great. Companies also visit to offer internships. Students from our batvh are working as Mathematician, Data Analyst, Numerical Analyst, Cryptanalyst etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There were no fee charges. On the top we were given stipend. It was INR 5000 for UG courses, INR 7000 for PG courses. JRFs varied in between INR 17-25k for research students. These motivated the students to perform mch better in academics.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. cultural events or activities usually take place . Seminars, entrepreneurship sessions, workshops, debates are mostly conducted. Freshers and farewell is organised by every department.

Admission

You will selected for this institute on the basis of entrance exam and interview. You have to apply for this institute online by fulfilling the eligibility criteria. Read the instructions carefully. Upload the scanned documents and signature as well. You will also have to pay application fee which is Rs.1,250 for general categories and Rs.625 for SC/ST.

The faculty of our department had Clarity in basic concepts and willingness to share their knowledge. They had a good command over language and were humble. They used to treat learners with love and kindness.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Pros and cons of ISI

I also applied to other colleges in engineering through jee mains but couldn't get the cut-off marks cleared . The admission process of ISI is through ISI admission test .this test has great toughness and only tastes mathematics of 10+2 level.
