Course Curriculum Overview
I pursued B.A Political Science and our curriculum had subjects related to History, Economics and Political Science. We got to study a lot of subjects under these disciplines. exams happened every semester but regular tests were conducted my teachers.
Placement Experience
There are not many placements opportunities but students can apply for teaching jobs in schools as well as our own college. Most students want to go for masters anyway, so there are very less number of students who want placement.
College Events
Our college has a very happy environment and students are always participating or organising some function like dance shows or music shows on special occasions. Our college also organises Freshers' and Farewell parties for us.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is very inexpensive. I paid 1800 rupees for one year that means it was around 5600 for the entire duration of the course. This is just the tuition fees. Hostel accommodation and food was separately charged.
Campus Life
Maynaguri College has a brilliant sports teams that go for competitions in different colleges. We have good coaches who provide training to interested students. We also have music and dance clubs in which students organise performances.
Admission
The eligibility criteria to get admission in Maynaguri College require students to get 55% in their 12th board exams. There is no entrance exam for admission. i scored a 60% and met the criteria and got selected.
Faculty
I had the pleasure of studying under some of the best teachers. They were very approachable and intelligent. they helped us clear all our doubts and also gave us relevant notes and study material that came very handy during exams.
