Course Curriculum Overview
The course has a lot of fantastic elements in it. The topics are thought provoking, as I'd expected from a philosophy course! The subject was certainly interesting and provided a deeper understanding.
Placement Experience
There's not really a lot of placement opportunities for philosophy graduates. Most of us went for higher studies, or government job exams, and a number of different things. The placement cell has a lot of activities in this regard.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is not high at all. The cost is 3240 rupees per year, which is low and affordable/manageable for most. There's also a lot of scholarships available, so it becomes easier for people to study here.
Campus Life
There are conferences, workshops and seminars held on a number of different topics, conducted by talented and experienced individuals. There's sports, and socio-cultural programmes too where students participate
Admission
The application was online, through the college's website. The selection process was based on the results of the 10+2 examinations. The college has a good reputation here, and I had wanted to study philosophy.
Faculty
The faculty members were all experienced individuals, and they encouraged us to think and question. Their help was crucial in doing well in the exams, and I have had a lot of help in both the course and life.
