Course Curriculum Overview
Bachelor of Arts in Sanskrit is a three-year regular graduate program in Sanskrit language. It provides an overall understanding of the ancient language to the students through the vast coverage of its syllabus. It?s divided into four major parts that are, Poetry, Literature, Grammar and History.
Placement Experience
There are opportunities for placement and internship for the language courses that are provided. The chances of getting placed increases and makes us more compatible. Mostly students prepare for competitive exams and do some other courses post this. We get exposure to the outside world which gives us new experiences.
College Events
There are a lot of events that are celebrated in my college and especially those of National and International importance. The entire student community comes together to celebrate these events. The festivals are celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm and zest. Everybody comes together to share their joy and have fun. In my time, I made so many friends through these celebrations.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee per year was ?4,513 which makes a total of ?13,539 for a three year course. It's affordable and it enables for a good education at minimal costs making higher education easy to achieve. It enables students to get access to such good education and not facing financial issues.
Campus Life
The activities that are available are, NCC, NSS, Workshops and Seminars. I was the part of the NCC group and I got to learn so much and experience new things other than academics. A lot of people joined and took part in these activities enthusiastically.
Alumni/Alumna
The college's alumni association organised the alumni meet programs and invited the alums for a day to college. The alums come and join this meet and share their knowledge and experience. I met a senior of mine who suggested me some good ways of going about my course and internships.
Admission
Admission is on merit basis only. On the basis of the percentage secured in 12th board examinations from any certified examination board in any stream. I chose this course because I always had been keen on learning about languages and I planned on doing my post graduation in Linguistics.
Faculty
The faculty members of my college are really talented and well versed with their fields of study. They help us learn better and also support us by taking extra classes to make sure we get the hang of our course details.
