Course Curriculum Overview
Bachelor of Arts in Sanskrit is a three-year regular graduate program in Sanskrit language. It focuses on providing an overall understanding of the ancient language to the students through the vast coverage of its syllabus. It?s divided into four major parts that are, Poetry, Literature, Grammar and History.
Placement Experience
There aren?t many opportunities for placement and internship for a language course that are provided. Mostly students prepare for competitive exams and do some other courses post their Undergraduation.
College Events
A lot of events are celebrated in my college and especially that of National and International importance. The entire student community comes together to celebrates these events and festivals too. It is so nice to see everybody come together and share their joy and have fun.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee per year is ?4,513 which makes a total of ?13,539 for a three year course. It is affordable and it enables for a good education at minimal costs making higher education easy to achieve. It gives everybody an opportunity to learn in my area.
Campus Life
Some major activities that students take part in are NCC, NSS, Workshops and Seminars. I took part in NCC and I am having a good experience. I am grateful that I got this opportunity and it is nice to get an opportunity to explore in college.
Admission
The admission is granted on a merit basis depending on the percentage secured in 12th board examinations (from any certified examination board in any stream). I chose the BA in Sanskrit because I was preparing for a competitive exam and wanted to do my graduation along with it. Plus, it is always a benefit to know more than two languages, I always have been keen on learning about languages.
Faculty
The faculty members of my course are really talented and well versed with the language. They not only help us learn better but also support us by taking extra classes to make sure we become fluent in the language.
