Remarks

Best private College For Engineering in kolkata after Jadavpur and Shibpur. The college has very good faculty and the location is very good. The fees are also very satisfactory. The college has good hostel facility and the canteen is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is well devsloped with lots of knowledge about each and every topic. The course is designed in such a way that one can have full knowledge in 4 years about a lot in the subject. The faculties are very knowledgeable and they are very helpful.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities are very good. One who studies hard will definitely get placement of atleast 6LPA by studying in this college. TCS, Wipro, Infosys visit college every year and takes a good percentage of students. Overall 80 percent of students gets placed.

College Events

Good. The college organizes fest once a year. It organizes regular sports events and also cultural festival once in a year. The college has various clubs which hosts regular programs too. Overall its a very good experience.

Campus Life

Well maintained. The college has centralized ac with wifi support and the buildings are well maintained and santised everyday. The class has also smart board and projector. The labs are also well equipped with lots of instruments and the faculties helps a lot.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
