Because 1. It was near my house 2. With my rank this was the best college in Kolkata3. Fees was affordable for my parents4. College nice campus 5. Sports and other club are very active6. I know this is not a reason after admission I discovered that Heritage College is amazing in terms of taste hygiene and everything is perfect 7. College is located at a prime location very easy transport and connectivity

Our College is Autonomous So course syllabus is always updated.Industrial Exposure for my stream (Civil Engg) is not very good and also due to current covid-19 we are missing the most important exposure. Civil Faculties surely has some amazing professors 1. Seema Ma'am (Fluid Mechancis ) she is one my favourite teacher I can challenge you just can't skip her class.The way she teaches there no way that you are going to have a doubt in a single topic, she is very interactive with class that really helps.Also, she an ex-IITian and she has completed her masters in Germany.2. Dev Sir he is really really amazing teacher and best in his field which is economies. After, very class we used to discuss about stock market.Also, he is also very good investor.During this classes I understood that economies is very important subject and it has is the most practical subject.He also EX-IITian and completed this MBA from IIM-C

Yes I have opted for internship in Company - L&T Stipend - Nil it wasn't a long internship but experience was quite amazing working on field is really different from learning in class and doing practicals in labs field is totally different it's totally new you will have to start from scratch.

Placement process starts in first semester of 4th year.Companies like Wipro TCS Cognizant Infosys are the main recruiters.There are also sector-specific placements from companies like Godrej and L&T but they take very few students.Heritage alumini network is very strong there are many names for example recently in vaccine preparation of coronavirus there was a girl from Oxford university she completed her BTech from heritage from biotech department.Heritage biotech and Cs department is best.My batchmate did a startup on bricks and got funding from tamilnadu government of 70 lakhs.

Heritage institute of technology has its own cultural festival festival known as HERITAGE UTSAV which take place in month of march or April. HERITAGE UTSAV is one of the biggest fest of Kolkata Bollywood celebrities are invited in fest. In 2016 Farhan akhtar perform in our fest.In 2019 Monali thakur who was invited. And student of every college are invited to participate.3000 to 5000 people attend this fest. Big brand also sponsored this fest like oneplus oppo etc And technical festival known as Daksh which take place in month of February.Many unique competition take place during this fest colleges from all over Kolkata are invited to participate.

Yes there are many scholarship provided to students with good marks.Loans are also easily available from various banks.Various scholarships are provided from college and from state government which can be availed at college.For instance, there is a minority scholarship from state government to Muslims which have a certain income one of my friend has avail the scholarship for past three years.

NO I haven't opted for it.Girls hostel girls hostel is located in the college campus. And no boys are allowed in girl's hostel building and there is also restriction on timing of hostel. Fees around 12k to 15k per month approximately with food included.Boys hostel is situated away from the college campus it is within 1 kilometre distance. Food is included. Fees is around 10k to 12k which includes food.Hostel rooms are generally share between two person. Girls hostel are way better than boys hostel. You can easily get PG around the college most of students take PG it's better and cheap.
