Remarks

This college is located near my house so it is time saving and economical. The fees structure is not so high and quite affordable. Its totally a girls college so I opted for this college as I am not familiar with Co-ed system.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our syllabus is updated as per the Calcutta University guidelines. We follows CBCS system that is exam in every 6 months for 3 years course. This system has built a mind setup in students for continous studies throughout the session as the syllabus is very vast.

Placement Experience

We do not have placement cell in our college and I donot seek to go for any placement as I want to complete my Masters in future. I donot know exactly about such facility given by our college.

College Events

My college life is pretty good. We get time and opportunity to participate in many events and programmes hosted by other college. Previous year I participated in Debate competition held in Heritage College. Apart from that our college organizes many events like freshers party and Holi utsav within college premise.

Campus Life

Our college builiding is 3 stroyed builiding which is quite enough for our morning shift. But the college campus need to be more well maintained and rennovated. We have projectors in our room but many rooms lack this system. College canteen and library is okay for the students.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Moderate College Life.

After HS I applied many colleges but I didn't got chance at the top notch colleges as they damand more marks than I got. After trying so many colleges I finally got admitted to this college.
