Prospective students must fill out an online admission form and pay the associated fees. Admission is based on 12th-grade marks and entrance exam scores. Governed by the West Bengal government, the college has a low admission fee structure: Rs 3000 in the first year, Rs 5000 in the second year, and Rs 7000 in the third year. Although the college lacks a dedicated placement cell, efforts are underway to improve placement opportunities through seminars, counseling, and workshops starting in the sixth semester. Currently, 40-50% of students secure placements, and internships are available in the third and final year.
The college supports underprivileged girls financially, though stipends are not provided to all students. Alumni networking and higher studies options are limited. Scholarships like the Vivekananda Scholarship and Kanyashree are available through the West Bengal Government. B.A. students pay an annual fee of 8,000 rupees and exam fees from 350 to 450 rupees. Eligible students can access scholarships such as the svmcm scholarship or sc/st/obc scholarships, with a minimum amount of 12,000 rupees annually.
