Remarks

It has a very good campus and a diverse student base. It is also one of the best private engineering colleges in my state. As of last year our college has provided decent placements and has had good facilities. Also it has very low fees considering it is a private college.

Course Curriculum Overview

It has a very standard curriculum although has a variety of optional courses. It has a good faculty team over all. It also provides good hands on experience as it has good industry grade labs and industry experienced faculties.

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 392000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities bare decent. Many companies come every year such as Mahindra, Phillips, Amazon, Infosys etc. but most number of students are placed in TCS by either selected placement or mass recruitment. Mass recruitment by other companies too is a large part of the placements.

College Events

Our college holds several cultural and tech fests every year and individual departments also hold various events. It see large student participation as well as participation from companies and other colleges in terms of tech fests.

Campus Life

Our college has several large grounds that can be used for various sports. It also has indoor sports facilities. Wifi speed isnt very good but usable. The library is quite big and it has a large selection of books ranging from technical course books to competetive exam prep books.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
