Remarks

It has good campusing placements. Rank number 1 in all all engineering colleges in Kolkata in private. It also has a very good campus environment and is highly rated by every career counselor. And after getting in it, I can hardly argue.

Course Curriculum Overview

The academic syllabus needs to be updated and their needs to be more of co curricular activities. The college follows the syllabus of the MAKAUT. And both the board and the college needs to update. We get less of what is actually required.

Placement Experience

Mass Recruited by TCS. Or maybe CTS, Wipro. The packages are low and below par. But there are availability of companies.

College Events

The college doesn't organise Events as such every year. There is a Technical Fest sometimes but the Cultural Fest has long gone. But the students have tried to make it better. But have failed in the process.

Campus Life

The campus is totally connected with Wi-Fi and every student has got his or her own email to login with. There are ebooks and the library is a heaven. The lab's also need to be updated soon. And that's a must.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
