Remarks

The BBA course teaches management so the management of the college is bound to be good. Every thing is on time. Also there are different departments to solve all your different problems. I personally never faced any problem.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college follows a semester system for teaching process. In total there are 6 semesters of 6 months each. For the first 5 semester the course forms a foundation for understanding business administration and for the last semester students can opt for specialisation courses like finance, marketing, HR. The entire course is research and case study driven and absolutely relevant.

Placement Experience

3.5

This is the area where the college needs a bit more improvement. Although there is a seperate placement cell in the college and most of the students get placements directly from the college but the package offered is quite low considering the fees the college charges, so the ROI is pretty low.

College Events

4.5

Some of the important institurional activities are management development programme which is finance for non finance professionals organised by BSE. During the 1st semester we also have our team building excursion for 3-4 days, factory visits, seminars and conferences also happen on a regular basis. An annual college fest is also organised by the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college fee for the management department is quite expensive. Per semester one needs to pay around 60, 000, which is around 3 lakh 60k for the entire course. And at the beginning you also need to pay for the excursion. But yes the college provides transparency in the fee breakdown. Both online and offline modes of payment of fees is available.

Fees and Financial Aid

I dont know if the college offers any scholarships as of yet but when I joined there were no scholarship options.

Campus Life

The BBA department is coed batch unlike the Bcom one. The gender ration is 1:1, which is not there in most of the colleges in India. Student diversity in the college is very nice with students coming from ever part of India. There are parties and workshops also. There is not too much of politics in the college which I like. The cases of ragging are very less and the college takes these things very seriously.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes it has a huge alumni network which is obviously very helpful. One thing that I have fount is that the seniors are extremely friendly and are always ready to help their juniors.

Admission

First you need to apply to the college, both offline and online modes are available. Then you are shortlisted on the basis of your board marks (85%-90% is good) if shortlisted, one need to crack the interview. Your certificates and co curricular activities matters a lot.

Faculty

4.5

This is the best part of our college. The college has the most professionally qualified and dedicated faculty for BBA in eastern India. Majority of the teachers have a PHD and are specialists in their fields. We also get ample opportunity to interface with the faculty and engage with them intellectually.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
