Remarks

College management can be more vocal when it comes to announcements and transparency with students issues. Also address every complaint in more judicious manner so that college and students both can benefit from them. I wish placement cell could get more weightage and importance than it does right now and rest, I would like to say that those three years were best years of my life in terms of education, experiences and making lifelong acquaintances and friends. it will be like a family away from family.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum was well sorted and informative enough. Credit where it's due, DU has one of the best curriculum and staff that keeps up with the requirement of education system and such research driven, practical approach towards my subject impressed me a great deal. Teachers are so supportive and friendly and seniors are helpful. DU has no ragging rule and for the first time I saw it being implemented nicely. Aura of Hindu is all about being diligent and enjoying every college experience like its the first. Field trips and workshops make you more aware of the opportunities out there. Time and support given for internships is also appreciated. However they only provide Innovation project for selected students and that is the extent of internship. One has to find Internships from outside insittutes.

Placement Experience

4.5

College does not provide ant internships except innovation project which if a student wants to get their hands on, they need to be prove themselves extremely driven from the day of orientation which decides a great deal towards their selection for the same. Internships need to be done, Its very imperative. Also, it's advisable that students ask faculty members about good institutes that provide decent internships and procedure to apply very early in their admission processes. Placement cell of Hindu brings the best companies. It has the vast network of well established Alumni that can vouch for the same. Companies like Egon Zander, ITC, DE SHAW, etc. come for the placements and provide more than the decent package. Highest package runs from 20-26 lac p.a.

College Events

5

The most amazing and by far the most attracting feature of Hindu College is it's annual fest, MECCA which is a three day festival celebrated in its truest of the essence. From Sponsorship to events, everything is just stupendous and out of the world. Another great celebration is Valentine's day and our holy tradition of V-tree Pooja is an affair of talks generated in other schools inviting celebrities every year and enjoying the day to its fullest. Apart from that, Department fests, department freshers, college freshers, department farewell, college farewell, after freshers party, post farewell party, club activities, club events, workshops, protests and other college events will just light up your whole experience of a proper college and Hindu does not disappoint when it comes to living extracurricular activities and learning experiences through such events as academics alone are not at all sufficient to make you a better human being. its a holistic experience in itself and those extra credits will be so worth it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very feasible. My program fee was approx 26000 per year for three year course including everything (your examination form fees and others). Fee mode is online and forms to be submitted is offline obviously. no extra course fees is to be given and there would be full transparency in your fee breakdown from your library privileges to your lab equipment.

Fees and Financial Aid

Inspire scholarship on the basis of high school marks is the one scholarship that I availed as I was in the top 1% in the CBSE Board. the procedure was simple. We had to fill a form and get it attested from our administration and attach our fee receipts in order to avail it. We got it after two months or so on the basis of our merits.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is something that is not only respected but taken into account while admission and is one thing to be appreciated. Campus life is one of the best experiences one will ever get. Zoology lawns to bask in the sun between lectures, Ibtida lawns for club meetings, NSS cleanliness drives, Pam area and canteen were everybody's regular hangouts. Events and extracurricular activities surpasses the quantifiable measures as each is different and so many for each course yet one that is available for all would be the clubs you chose in the beginning of the year. They really set you apart from every other individual and gives you an edge in your future endeavours.

Hostel Facilities

No. I did not opt for a hostel as they allot hostels on the basis of your marks and I did not make the cut I guess. Living facilities is very minimal and on existence basis and your everyday hostel so you won't expect any luxurious living standards. Rooms are not single occupancy and I am not quite sure about the bathrooms being attached or provided one per floor shared by all. Water shortages and fee hikes were the daily issues being raised while we were there and that alone speaks for the facilities provided in hostels. Security is also compromised upon when it comes to girls hostels and that might not be the only issue with living there.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is so dense and reputed that even Google would know it. Seniors are very helpful and try to educate you about opportunites as they come their way and one cannot be more thankful to them. Our one senior got designated as an IFS officer, Dhawan Kumar Rawat, other got placed in the highly reputed MNC, and each alumni is as reputed and as successful as them. These were very few examples to personify.

Admission

When I got admission, it was on a merit basis but now DU has an entrance test for the admission procedures, and candidates with good high school marks are preferred although this is not a pre-requisite and hence your entrance score has much weightage. We filled the application form with necessary documents such as an identity proof, your 10th, and 12th mark sheet and certificates of migration and transfer (if any) and attested forms of caste and a year gap(if any) which they provide and you have to get attested by a government official. The document verification is very thorough and time-consuming so one must take out a day or two for admission procedures and be prepared to stay the night in Delhi because as a student who didn't live in Delhi, this was cumbersome. They ask for demand draft in the payment of fees procedure which can be done in the nearby bank they tell you about. Senior students are always there to help which made the procedure slightly helpful. After all this, the process is quite simple. One can check the dates from the website of DU and keep in touch with the notifications about dates as they keep changing but it's mostly around May.

Faculty

5

Faculties are by far the best individuals to look forward to. Motivated and passionate towards their field, they are very informative and updated with their area of study and some of them are also scientists. They can provide you with some best insights and counseling for your future endeavors.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.
