Remarks

Besides common Engineering Courses this college have Biomedical Engineering and Food Technology, which are two courses that have very good opportunities growing. I took Biomedical Engineering since I have Interest in both Biology and Mathematics.

Course Curriculum Overview

I took Biomedical Engineering since I love Biology and mathematics. Optimal faculty student ratio. Reputed senior faculties and very good assistant Professors. The term exams are conducted as per the university.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience

Students got eligible for placement from fifth semester. Infosys, Transasia, Cyrix etc. I am planning to do hospital internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

Optimal fees for every category students and they provide scholarship for students. Category scholarships and scholarships based on student's performance.

Campus Life

Tech fests, Annual fests all are conducted by students wit the huge support the college. All relevant books for all departments along with newspapers and magazine are available in the library. All classrooms are well equipped and all labs are fully modified. The college support artists and sportsman, they allow students and support them to participate in intercollege competitions. College have film club, music club, IEDC cell IEEE, and NSS.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
