Remarks

Jd birla (management department)is best college for bba in kolkata. It is ranked amongst top 10 universities for Bba in india.Also the college is situated in a posh area which is a very important factor. The faculties here have great knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

There is no industrial exposure provided by the college. Faculties are okay not so great. We don't have any campus life here. Actually there is no campus in our college. It is situated above the school.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 54000 per year

Placement Experience

The college doesn't provide good placement and job opportunities. A very few number of students are placed. Moreover the companies are not so great. The salary package provided is also not so great.

College Events

There is no campus life in our college. The college holds a number of events but participation is biased to an extent. There is no campus in our college, no gaming room. Many cultural events are held. we also have many societies in our college.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Admission here depends on your 12th grade and we also have a test on checking our English. Students who fail there even if he/she has good grades in 12th stands not eligible.
