None the management is professionally run and with the best of staff all requirements are immediately fulfilled by the management.

NIT colleges have quota of students from each state. The state where you complete your HSC Exams has a counselling centre i.e Surat for Gujarat State wherein based on your rank in HSC Exams and the seat availability in various colleges, you have to opt for a stream of your choice when your number comes and then after your selection that seat is struck off from the available seats.

The course curriculum was good and there were constant class tests every week to keep you updated with your studies, The subjects for first year was common and then focussed on electrical and electronics subjects from 2nd year onwards.

Internship was external wherein based on a recommendation letter from the college you had to make arrangements with suitable factories. Internship was helpful in understanding the concepts taught in college vis a vis the actual setup in factories no stipend was offered but meals were provided as applicable to regular staff of the factory.

Placement was good with almost 80% of the students getting campus placements companies included IT, Electrical, Automobile, Armed Forces etc.

We used to have our annual fest wherein it was a week long celebration exercise and most of the students took part in singing and drama competitions. We also used to have technical competitions wherein all colleges within Kerala used to particiapate and the function was held in our college.

Fee structure is low as it received central government Grants and was one of the premier institutes in India we paid a fees of approx. Rs. 50000 per year.

No do not have any knowledge of scholarship or loan facility offered by the college it is a central government run institution wherein quota was available for ex-serviceman.

Debates were a regular feature lab was well equipped sports included basketball, football and tennis for which ground was available withing the campus.

Hostel Facilities were twin sharing rooms with no air conditioners only basic amenities were available hostel facility was available for all students on board they were maintained well and mess food was good especially in the last year wherein the best of food was available to students for a price.

Good network and recently we conducted the reunion of 25 years of our passing from the college and had a strength of 234 students attending the same from all parts of the world.

Exams were semester exams but we had regular weekly class tests and hence had to be continuously updated with our subjects.

The faculty was top notch with all HOD and second rung professors having done Phd in various subjects and had a teaching experience of 15 years plus. The practical staff was relatively young but each of them had completed MTech in various subjects.
