Remarks

This college has been among the top 3 private engineering colleges of West Bengal,with good faculty and infrastructure etc. Our college holds a NBA affiliation also which adds more weightage to one's degree and also provides Btech(Hons.) on completion of few online degree courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is according to the university (MAKAUT), regular classes and laborataries are held with good demonstrations,technical workshops are also held to provide good exposure in the technical field.

Placement Experience

Last year Microsoft visited and took 1 or 2 students,Deloitte is also visiting for the last couple of years and various other reputed companies too visited the campus.

Our college holds one of the best Tech Fest 'EDGE'of eastern India after IIT KGPs tech fest. The Entrepreneurship cell also encourages new ideas to come up. The technical committee organizes various workshops to keep the students updated with new technologies.

Campus Life

Elevator facility is there as the college building is 8 storied,canteen facility is also there with good quality food,laboratories are well equipped,proper sanitized washroom facilities are available at each floor.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
