Remarks

I have chosen this college because of many factors. First of all the college is located near my home and so transportation is very easy and also I have heard many good reviews of this college from my seniors and my peers.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am very much impressed by my college. It has good courses carriculum academic and faculties. In every aspect I can rate my college a five-star. Moreover the courses are very updated and my department which is electrical is very special because the faculties are very very expert and they are all PhD holders.

I am a first year student and have recently gone to second year and I am not quite aware of the jobs snd placement procedure but still I can say that our department electrical engineering have a good alumni and the job referrals are not that bad.Moreover my friends are to starting entrepreneurship skills

College Events

Our campus life is very exciting and we get full support from our seniors and our teachers but talking about extra curricular activities perhaps we focus more on extra curricular activities then our studies which should not be the ideal case. There are events that always happen in our college. And our technical or cultural teams are very nice and they are always ready to support us and they are always doing something.

Campus Life

Talking about infrastructure we have a very good library where all kind of books are available. Moreover the departmental labs are very good. Our Electrical engineering department has many expert and updated labs and the first year labs which we attended, the Physics of the chemistry lab are also very good.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
