Remarks

Management have always different perception towards the technical staff. College is like school rather than college. Faculty are good.

I took AIEEE score is around 70k. I have two option one in graphic era. I choose graphic era as its inside the city.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.Tech in electronics and communication. 8 semester,2 semester each year two sessional,viva in each semesters. One project in 7th semester industrial training of 4 weeks in 6 th semester.

Internships Opportunities

During the course we have to find internship ourself. College just provide the letter no stipend is provided. After the internship,you have to give a presentation and faculty will rate you according to it.

Placement Experience

20-30 % placements are there. Syntel,infosys,tcs are the main companies which comes there for hiring. Sometime pool campus and sometimes in the college.

College Events

Alumni meet once a year both in banglore,pune and delhi grafest celebrate around september october sports day or tech fest where many colleges participated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Currently fee is 60000-80000 per semester. Labs are good and as its deemed now so fees is a little expensive than feasible. Examination fee is 3000 per semester at that time and back fee is 500 per paper.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan is easily available from punjab national bank branch located inside the campus. If you have good rank than college can provide you a scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus is good but as i said its more like a school than college extracurricular activities you can do as tech fest is organized once in a year. Sports day is also organized. Labs are good.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel for first year guys is good which is outside the campus. Inside the campus hostel is for senior guys. Lunch is good and breakfast is ok but dinner is worse at that time however dinner in main campus is ok.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Exam Structure

College is held six days a week only sunday is week off only one day off between two exams in case of externals in sessional,two exam per day.

All the faculties are mtech and some hod are Ph.D. Technically they are good but the atmosphere is more like the school rather than the college. Professors are punctual come to the class and sometime take extra classes on holidays too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.
