Remarks

Main thing is that, this college was not that much far away from my home, so I could come back to my home everyday, and also teachers and education systems were food there, I got many positive responses from other students who graduated from there. And I chose this institute for my further studies

Course Curriculum Overview

Our syllabus was under calicut university and we have reffer many books for some important portions, and teachers will give lecture notes, that will be so helpful for students. and also we have to visit several industries as part of our syllabus

Job opportunities are high, we could find vacancies on several companies and we could apply our resume after that we could attend interviews

College Events

Campus life was so fun and good, our college conducting arts fest, science fest, sports and other to impove extracurricular activities of students, Management is very supported to students for conducting such type of events

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
