Remarks
This college is one of the most prominent instituitions in the region of west bengal furthermore the cpurse for biotechnology which is offered in this instutuition is very notable and one of the best throughout this whole country. The campusing provided here is also quite satisfactory and the prospect of pursuing higher studies is a lot promising which is a requisite for this stream.
Course Curriculum Overview
Academically our instutuition is advanced as far as education and the teachers are concerned. Our library provides a wide array of book collection and laboratories are well equipped. As far as industrial exposure is concerned we have still not received any because it is just the end of first semester.
Placement Experience
From our department usually mpst people opt for higher studies out of a strength of 45, 18 people went for mtech and a total of 20 people got placement in prominent companies like TCS, nestle and amazon. In our college a total of 326 out of 524 students get placed every year and most people get selected by TCS amidst other good companies such as Accenture.
College Events
Our college has a student council which arranges for fests and sports activities such as inter college sport competition. The freshers fest of our college named nascent took place as well as the main fest was scheduled to take place but was post poned due to recent conditions.
Campus Life
Sports facilities are more than available and wifi facilities are also leniently provided. The library is of a considerable size as suitable for any self respscting college and digital library facilities are also provided. Lab equipments are considerably in good conditions and we do not feel the absence of any equipment.
