Only private college that offered Biotechnology and this college had good reputation about this subject. And, good placement record also. The teachers have ample knowledge about the scope of Biotechnology in higher studies and RnD sectors. They encouraged us to pursue higher degrees. Before the pandemic, very few had the idea about the field Biotechnology and what this course does! They encouraged us
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is moderately updated, but teachers talk about the recent invention or about the topic that earned Nobel prize that year. They try to send students abroad for internship. They bring ongoing doctorate students and conduct seminars, where they talk about how those research facilities work. Or they may share their own experience or ideas. The teachers try to encourage us.
Placement Experience
Mainly we get our placement in IT companies. Nescafe is the only company related to Biotechnology, which gives students job in RnD sector. Because, this subject is mainly research based. And, even for job minimum M. Tech is required. But, Many people take IT jobs who doesn't want to pursue career in higher studies.
College Events
They try to hold a decent and large fest for college students. But this unicycle often fails because of an internal dispute about the student council body. Because, they try to bring big celebrities like Farhan Akhtar, Monali Thakur etc.
