Remarks

When I started choosing college after WBJEE I was very much fascinated by this college. I read many reviews from many students and ex-students of this college. I read that this is one of the best private college in West Bengal. I read student reviews from Quora and other sites that the studying atmosphere is too good in this college and there is not very much pressure also. I saw some photos of the campus. There I saw a big campus consisting of canteen, cafeteria, football field, racing track, AC library, Well-equipped labs. Moreover no uniforms. This college is a perfect blend of college life with study and fun. After being a heritage student I felt I did no mistake while choosing the college. The alumni circle is big, the placements are pretty good, faculties are friendly and helping.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course curriculum is advanced compared to other colleges as our college is a autonomous college and syllabus is little bit extra compared to MAKAUT syllabus. The course curriculum consists from basics. Faculties are really great. They have great backgrounds and their teaching styles are unique. They will help you even after class if there is any doubt.

Placement Experience

I am a 2nd year student so I don't have exact knowledge of this thing. I heard last year adobe visited our campus. Also I know TCS, Wipro, cognizant, infosis are some companies which come to our college regularly.

College Events

Campus Life is great. After some time there will happen an event un which you can participate. Hult prize, quiz competition, drama competition, robot making competition will happen. There are council to take care of these events.

Campus Life

It has a great infrastructure. Library is huge and too many books. Whole campus have wifi. Lab equipments are in good condition. There is no sport faculties. You can simply play on your own or with your friends in free time. There is a football field, badminton court, volleyball court, cricket field, racing track even shooting range. There is also a common room where there are some gym equipments and carrom board, table tennis board etc.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
