Remarks
I chose the University because of its academic and diverse body. There are students from all over India, and that makes Delhi University one of the most diverse place to be. Also, it has great academic reputation and the college has great people, faculty and infrastructure.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is more theoretical than practical. There are labs etc to provide good practical knowledge but the exposure isn't sufficient. Also, the faculty is really good but the education isn't just about academics.
Internships Opportunities
I previously opted for a Campus Ambassador program for a fitness NGO. It was an unpaid internship which i got through LinkedIn. NGO - Fitholic Association.
Placement Experience
House It is the one of the successful startup done last year by the recent batch of the College. Also there are many notable Alumni from the college including Imtiaz Ali, Arjun Rampal, Arnab Goswami, Manoj Kumar, Mallika Dua, Jasleen Royal, Ajay jadeja etc. Also, Hindu Entrepreneurship Summit is now the most distinguished entrepreneurial event in the Delhi University circle organized by the Entrepreneur cell of Hindu College.
College Events
Mecca, the annual fest of Hindu college is one of the best happening fests in North campus. Other than Mecca, there are more events that are really amazing and had held sucessfully with grace. The management is the parliament which consists of the students itself. Hindu College is famous for its parliamentary elections. It is the only college to have its own parliament. Also Mushairah, Jashn-e-hindu, Samvaad etc are one of the successful events happened. The societies are amazing and they really find out the best of you. Societies like Nakshatra, Srijya, Adhrita, NSS and more are really one of the best among DU.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is really good. There's wifi everywhere including labs, library, canteen etc. Library is fully air conditioned and has a good capacity and also has a good collection of all kind of books and magazines. The surrounding is clean and green. Canteen has good food and space to hangout. The new Science block in Hindu college is the best place till now.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is only available to those very far away from colleges. The availability is as per your marks and the distance from college to the city you live in. There are very limited seats(say 4 for a particular course). Those who don't get the hostel can go for PG's around the campus which cost about 7000 to 20000 as per your requirements.
