Remarks
Firstly,HITK is my dream-college.To get a chance to be admitted in HITK after scoring well in JEE Mains was a life-changing event for me as I've dreamt to study Biotechnology from HITK since class 11.Of Course,there are some reasons: 1.The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked it 154 among engineering colleges in 2020 and 150 in 2019. 2.The college is amongst the top 5 Engineering colleges in West Bengal. 3.HITK has a well record of its Notable Alumni.(ex: Joyeeta Das- Founder of Artificial Intelligence Company "Gyana") 4.HITK is famous as one of the best private autonomous colleges in Kolkata as well as in West Bengal for Its quality of placements.
Course Curriculum Overview
1.Yes,our Course syllabus is updated.The syllabus is being changed in 2018 recently and it's being updated in every 4-5years. 2.Yes, students are given opportunity to trained themselves in all way as they can give the best out of their lives.College offers students to do internships from IITs,NITs to learn things professionally and thus we are provided enough industrial exposure. 3. Facilities are pretty good.They provide enough notes and study materials to finish the syllabus.
Placement Experience
Yes,a large group of companies visited our campus.TCS got the most recruitment.Every year +85% students get placed.HITK is mostly famous for its placement cell.The students of CSE,ECE,IT departments have the maximum chance to get placed after B.tech. The students of Biotechnology, Chemical departments have high chance to complete it's M.tech successfully and then get involved into research and development.
College Events
The campus life is extra-ordinary good.The greeny campus is shining everyday with its beauty.HITK contains three large building with a well-equipped central library. There is no limit of cultural events in a year.Freshers,fest, science events, cultural events are common.Besides, different special events related to placements,jobs and different seminars in all streams take place every year. Most of the students from each and every department are interested to participate almost in all the events.Students achieve credit points in that case.
