Remarks

I got a chance for admission through my counseling and this is the best college in Eastern Zone with a vivid range of placements. Got an opportunity to explore Kolkata and acquire experience staying away from home.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus got updated for the 3rd year. And due to this pandemic situation, faculties are putting so much effort to conduct online classes so that we don't face hazards. We have practical labs but haven't experienced any industrial exposure.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 360000 per year

Placement Experience

Wipro, Cognizant, IBM, TCS nd much more. Technical as well as intellectual Training and Placement is the framework for helping students to develop their personal and organizational skills, knowledge, and abilities so as to enhance their personality as well as help them get placed in an organization which has global presence.

College Events

The campus life goes on smooth. We have fest once a year. The student's council conducts it. bringing in large surprises and lots of fun. Then there are quizzes competition debates and we have several clubs like dance singing and much more.

Campus Life

Varied scope for sports, well equipped grounds, wifi, well stocked library and highly advance labs. There is a huge canteen providing a wide range of food within normal price tags and they are really tasty. We have auditoriums for conducting various occasions.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
